I debated whether or not to write this post for the last couple of weeks.
News about the Nordstrom Sale has been creating quite a buzz in the online world, and EVERYONE is putting out their top choices and favorites. I’m sure you have been seeing them pop up all over. What has been stopping me is the idea of including shopping posts on my blog. Yes, I participate in LiketoKnow.it, and you can shop many of the rooms in my house. That app is simply to save you time if you were to happen to wonder where I purchased something in my home. My concern was with the constant selling and focus on materialism we find everywhere we turn. That just isn’t me, and the last thing I want to do is create another outlet for someone to focus on the things that don’t matter. I also want you to come away feeling inspired and encouraged. Sometimes these types of posts leave us feeling like what we have isn’t good enough and we need more. That is a lie I am not interested in perpetuating.
So why did I decide to write up my picks?
Honestly? I needed to update my wardrobe. Over the last couple of years, a lot of our budget has spent towards the renovation of our house. My closet has been pretty neglected. I also want to get a head start on some Christmas shopping.
And so here’s the flip side. When you are actually in need of something, it is so convenient to have posts such as this! I have used them over and over myself. It’s like getting a second opinion from a friend who shares your same style. It can be helpful and time-saving (I just spent hours sifting through pages and pages of sale items to narrow it down to 12!).
It is important to me to keep this very budget friendly, so all of my picks are under $100. Just a heads up, this sale is a pretty big deal and things have been selling out quickly! As of midnight last night, all of the items below were still available.
